1. Information we collect
- Client accounts: name, email, phone, username and password (stored encrypted), and business details and documents you provide for verification.
- Listings: the business information, photos and contact details you choose to publish.
- Contact-detail requests: name, company, email, phone, purpose, country, requirement and the listings viewed.
- Inquiries and messages: your name, email, phone and message when you contact a business or us.
- Technical data: basic log data and cookies needed for login and site security.
1a. Viewing business contact details
To see the phone number, email, website and address of a listed business, visitors are asked for their name, company, email, phone, purpose and (optionally) country and requirement. We store this information together with the listings you view, so that we can follow up on your enquiry, understand demand and keep the network safe. A small cookie remembers you for 90 days so you do not have to fill in the form again.
1b. Enlistment applications
Businesses applying for enlistment provide business, address and contact details and upload documents such as the Trade Licence, TIN and BIN certificates, MOA & AOA, Certificate of Incorporation and office photographs. These documents are stored in a private, access-restricted area, are viewed only by VATax Advisory & Co. for verification, and are never published on the website. Rejected or withdrawn applications and their documents are deleted on request.
2. How we use it
To verify and approve clients and listings, operate the website, pass your inquiry to the business you contact, respond to you, monitor the platform for misuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3. What is published
Information you include in a listing is public. Verification documents are not published.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. When you send an inquiry through a listing, your details and message are sent to that business. We may share information with service providers who host or maintain the website, or where required by law.
5. Retention
We keep information for as long as your account or listing is active and as needed for legal and record-keeping purposes.
6. Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to close your account, by emailing vataxfirm@gmail.com.
7. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no website can be completely secure.
8. Changes
We may update this policy and will publish the current version on this page.
